Taking a Holiday Path toward Yoga Health

Norwalk’s LifePath Yoga & Wellness center is offering several special workshops during the month of December. To begin, Michelle Didner will present Bring Your Om hOMe on December 3 from 1:30-3:30pm. In the workshop, attendees will learn basic alignment rules, set goals and establish an understanding of how a yoga community can support those goals.

Looking for a retreat from the holiday madness? Join Shannon Aleksa for Restorative Yoga for the Holidays on December 4 from 1:30-3pm to experience gentle movement, restorative postures, soft music, light meditation, pranayama, Reiki and deep relaxation. The Freedom, Peace & Connections through Divorce series takes place on December 2, 9 and 16 from 1:30-2:45pm to offer support, community and compassion to those experiencing divorce at any stage. The series includes meditation, movement, journaling and dialogue.

Teacher Training: Yoga for Breast Cancer is the focus on the weekend of December 10 and 11 from noon to 6pm with Angela Strykowski. Breast Cancer Yoga is a flowing restorative yoga experience for the purpose of regaining health, strength and flexibility for men and women in cancer recovery. Self Care Meditation: Living in Change rounds out the pre-holiday offerings on December 16. The 7:15-8:15pm class with Meg Reilly helps soothe the soul with caring, supportive, healing energy through guided meditation, hypnotic techniques and a crystal singing bowl.
