Yoga Basics at Audubon Greenwich with Basil Jones

Come to Audubon this summer for a six-week exploration of yoga, inward contemplation and a focus on postures that are named after birds! Basil Jones (CYT), acclaimed yoga teacher for Martha Stewart and Kathy Smith, will teach yoga basics and share his thoughts on how to live in better alignment with nature and our planet. Each week the Pigeon, Peacock, Crow, Flying Crow, Eagle, and Bird of Paradise postures will be explored in depth. As a special bonus, some classes will be held outdoors in the sanctuary. No previous yoga experience is required; all skill levels are welcomed to join in this series of classes.

Audubon Greenwich, along with its Nature Gift Store and Art Gallery, owns 700 acres of sanctuary with miles of hiking trails that traverse meadows, forests, rivers, and ponds. Check their schedule for a list of programs and special events at Greenwich.Audubon.org. Learn more about Basil and his yoga experience at BasilYoga.com.
