CBD Shows Efficacy for Relief of Many Conditions
Cannabidiol (CBD) is a non-psychoactive component of Cannabis that is demonstrating a wide range of therapeutic benefits. CBD is naturally occurring in the hemp plant. Based on studies done to date, CBD seems to support nutrition of aging bodies and has been found to have benefits as a neuroprotectant, for example in limiting neurological damage following stroke and trauma, or in the treatment of neuro-degenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, epilepsy, autism and more.
It is also widely used for conditions such as chronic pain, anxiety, nausea, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, schizophrenia, diabetes, PTSD, alcoholism, strokes and cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other ailments. While sufferers of some of those conditions may be eligible for medical marijuana programs, CBD is being shown to offer relief without the psychoactive effects of traditional use of cannabis so there is no need for a prescription.Edit ModuleShow Tags
