Natural Awakenings Fairfield & Southern Litchfield Counties

Celebrate Halloween in Nature with Little Ones

On October 31 from 10am to 1pm, families with young children are invited to spend the morning with the Westbrook Nature School on six acres in West Redding. As part of the Woodland Halloween event, families will bake bread, make apple cider in the cider press, see a puppet show and take an enchanted fairytale trail walk. Organic soup and bread will be served. Non-scary costumes are optional.

Westbrook Nature School offers nature-based education on a property featuring trails, streams and meadows, with an organic garden and natural playscapes. The curriculum builds physical and emotional resilience, moral awareness and the foundation required for intellectual growth. Parent/child classes, mixed-age kindergarten, adult workshops, playdays and seasonal events are offered.

To reserve a spot, call 203-664-1554 or email [email protected]. The suggested donation is $10 per family. Location: Westbrook Nature School, 7 Long Ridge Rd, West Redding. See ad, page 53.
