A year like 2024 couldn’t have come at a better time. From a numerological perspective, it is considered an eight year (2+0+2+4=8) symbolizing the energy of action and power. Now is the time to focus on recharging ourselves and our energy. 2024 vibrates dynamic leadership, success, prosperity and empowerment.
This year will be vastly different from the seven of 2023 (2+0+2+3=7). Seven is a spiritual and inward vibration, an energy of going within to find the answers. Many of us found ourselves isolating and not stepping out to take chances. It was a strange time, inward and outward, on our planet. We can all agree with that.
Enter the year of the eight, where empowerment meets harmony. While we may not be able to control some aspects of what is happening, we can align with a new outlook in our psyche. Eight is the ego and the “I.” We can look at this as being a match to light the spark or the key to start the engine.
It’s time to claim our power and embolden others to do the same. The challenge is not to reflect from the ego with a “power over” approach or alternately shrink back due to insecurity and fear of judgment.
In Perfect Balance, We Find Harmony
Turn the eight sideways and it becomes the infinity symbol. This is the enlightened energy of the eight. There is no beginning and no end—so, in other words—if not now, when?Between the power struggles of our politics, economics and social norms, our world can seem topsy-turvy and often feel out of balance. But “I am” and “You are” are both important delineations on the journey of the eight. On this road, there is no need to prove that one is better than the other. “We are” is a natural state. The environment and theme of what is in store for you this year is your personal year. Find your personal year with this calculation:
Remember to add each number separately. For example, if you were born on April 12 and the current year is 2024: 4 +1 + 2 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 15 (1 + 5 = 6. Your personal year is 6)
One exception is if the sum adds up to a double number such as 11 or 22. When two numbers are the same, they are called master numbers because they are double the power of that number, so we don’t reduce. For example, if you were born on February 1st and the current year is 2024: 2 +1 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 4 = 11. (Here, your personal year is 11). This is a master year of inspirational ideas.

The Lesson and Theme of Your Personal Year in 2024
1 Leadership. The lesson is to inspire. Refrain from the ego’s desire to be right or in charge. Also, do not shrink from your magnificence.
2 Partnership. The lesson is to be fair and understanding, welcoming other perspectives. Let go of being a martyr or wanting control of a situation.
3 Creative communication. This could involve art, writing, speaking, music and other artistic pursuits. Step beyond the box of your belief system, create and have fun. Let go of insecurity.
4 Building and organizing. Try not to control or do all the work! Connect, share and be supportive.
5 Change, freedom and action. Focus on being out there and having fun. If this is uncomfortable, find those who feel safe and step out within your own comfort zone. Refrain from hiding or being pretentious.
6 Love, relationships and empathy. Focus on connections with partners, family, friends and business. It can be a time of birth or loss in different directions of life. Be nurturing, but don’t take over. Practice self-love.
7 Spiritual and inward thought. Examine your life and work toward understanding yourself. Honor your private time, but don’t disappear! Be open to expressing you.
8 Power and Empowerment. You are in the same energy as the global year. Experience the power and new opportunities that are open to you. Remember to breathe and take your time. Allow supportive others to assist. Don’t cater to your ego and try to prove yourself right.
9 Enlightenment and transformation. Trust in your insight. Be present. Complete things and let go of what you no longer need.
11 A master year of innovative ideas and inspiration. There will be major opportunities for accomplishment and invention. Let go of controlling or feeling defeated before starting. Allow victory to come into your life and enjoy it!
