Toward the end of this tenure, Charles Guglin, MD, FACS became somewhat dissatisfied with the way medicine is typically practiced in this country. It has become the norm to allow patients to become chronically unhealthy, mostly as a result of lifestyle issues, and then treat their symptoms with pharmaceuticals or invasive surgery. This led Dr. Guglin to become impassioned about the field of preventative/functional medicine.

Dr. Guglin addresses conditions that play a role in the aging process. He is dedicated to finding the root cause of chronic illness through the use of advanced diagnostics, including extensive blood studies, genomics, body composition analysis, VO2 Max studies and other current technologies.
