I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a master’s in Human Services and a certificate in Integrative Health and Healing. In working with clients, I practice a holistic approach which focuses on the whole person.
What drew you to this profession?
I have always been fascinated with the mind and how a shift in one’s perception can lead to greater healing. This led me to study psychology and social work. Later, as I integrated holistic healing practices in my own life, it illuminated to me a different path for healing. This path led to a greater sense of health and well-being and ignited my passion for sharing these practices with my clients.
How does your work differ from others in your profession?
In working with clients, I utilize a combination of traditional psychotherapy techniques and holistic healing practices.
What should someone expect from working with you?
I collaborate with clients on their path of healing and wellness. I have been trained in several integrative techniques such as mindfulness, Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, herbal medicine, Active Dreaming, nutrition and meditation.
What changes do you plan in 2021?
I plan to continue embarking on learning opportunities that will help facilitate my clients on their path of wellness and healing.
What is most important for Natural Awakenings’ readers to know?
Therapy and self-reflection can be a lot of work, but can also be the greatest adventure. I am honored when I am chosen to be part of that adventure.
