Call for Artists: Exposures 2022 Juried Open Photography Show at Gallery 25
New Milford’s Gallery 25 and Creative Arts Studio is hosting Exposures 2022, an open juried photography show held July 22 through 31, and is currently looking for artists to enter framed photographs and digital prints. The opening reception is July 23, from 2 to 4pm, and awards will be announced at 3pm.
Accepted medium are framed photographs and digital prints. Entry fee per artist is $25 for one or two photographs no larger than 1,000 square inches (roughly 26” x 36” including frame), original work only. Delivery for all works is July 17 from 3 to 6pm. No works will be accepted after the deadline. All works must be for sale, with a 30 percent commission on all sales.
Awards will be given at the discretion of the judge. The judge for Exposures 2022 is Michael Yurgeles, a photographic artist and educator from Litchfield County who has served as faculty for public/private schools and colleges. He studied photography with Richard Merritt at the University of New Hampshire and Gary Metz at the Rhode Island School of Design.
Gallery 25 is open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 4pm. Thanks to the town of New Milford and the Commission on the Arts, this co-op fine art gallery is located in the historic railroad station in the heart of a vibrant downtown that includes fine restaurants, an Art Deco movie theater and many unique shops.
