Under the Harvest Moon Supports Environmental Education

Woodcock Nature Center will host its annual Under the Harvest Moon celebration on Saturday, September 26 at 7 p.m., bringing together food, music and community in support of the center’s environmental education and outreach programs.

Set against the backdrop of Woodcock’s candlelit pavilion and pond, the evening will feature a dinner prepared by chefs Sarah and Bernard Bouïssou of À Table in Ridgefield, along with wine, craft brews, spirits, desserts and the event’s popular to-go treats bar.

Live music will be provided throughout the evening by Matt Greene and Dave Gould of Present Company. Guests can also participate in a live auction featuring unique items and event experiences available exclusively to those attending in person.

A limited number of VIP picnic tables for six, including drinks and appetizers, will also be available.

Single tickets are $150 and increase to $175 beginning September 1. VIP opportunities and sponsorships are available. The event is open to guests ages 21 and older and will be held rain or shine. Campground chic attire is encouraged.

A virtual auction, open to all, will run September 12 through 19, with auction item donations also being accepted.

Proceeds benefit Woodcock Nature Center’s environmental education and outreach programs.
