Breast, Ovarian & Gynecological Cancer Support

Support Connection, Inc., a nonprofit organization based in York-town Heights, invites the community to take part in the annual Support-A-Walk for Breast, Ovarian and Gynecological Cancer Support on October. 4, at Franklin D. Roosevelt (FDR) State Park, in Yorktown Heights.

This uplifting annual event brings help and hope to people fighting breast, ovarian or any gynecological cancer, while raising funds for Support Connection’s free year-round services, including one-on-one peer counseling, support groups, educational and wellness programs, and social activities.

Walk with Support Connection at FDR State Park or wherever you are. Family, friends, businesses and organizations can join together to celebrate, support and remember loved ones while raising funds and spreading awareness.

There are many ways to help, including donating, raising funds, forming a team, spreading the word and volunteering. Whether you walk in the park or in your own community, near or far, your participation helps make a difference. Support Connection serves people nationwide, and everyone is invited to take part.

The Support-A-Walk is Support Connection’s most important annual fundraiser and helps sustain its free breast, ovarian and gynecological cancer support services.

Location: FDR State Park, 2957 Crompond Rd., Yorktown Heights. For more information, to participate, volunteer or make a donation, call 914-962-6402 or visit SupportConnection.org/support-a-walk
