Community Mindfulness Project Spring Retreat
A day of restorative mindfulness practice
We hope that you can join us for our One Day Meditation Retreat. Spending time meditating in community offers a restorative, uplifting, nourishing experience; one that can deepen our practice and help us become more familiar with and kind toward ourselves. Over the course of the day, we will engage in a variety of secular guided and silent mind-focusing and heart-opening practices. At the end of the day, we will exit silence, and celebrate the time we have taken to care for ourselves and, by extension, others. No meditation experience is necessary, but we do invite you to join us for our regular weekly sits. Coffee, tea and snacks will be provided. Please bring your own lunch, coffee or tea mug and water bottle. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and bringing a mat and cushion, but it is not required – we will have some to borrow.
