Witch Crafting Wednesday: Mini Altar Tins

Bekah will guide the group through a journey meditation to seek these truths and then each participant will craft a Mini Altar Keepsake Tin that may act as a travel altar, medicine keeper, or ritual container

We gather in the midst of the sacred harvest season, between the Autumn Equinox and Samhain, to celebrate the fruits and abundance of the past year. The bright reds and yellows of the season are just upon us. Apples are ripe in the trees, our last vegetables have been picked, corn harvested. Now is the time to reap what we have sown, and gather up the rest of the harvests of grain, wheat, oats, herbs, flowers, vegetables and more. We will explore some stories and traditions of the holidays of the season while examining what we intend to harvest and bring forth into the next season, both of the earth and of our hearts. Bekah will guide the group through a journey meditation to seek these truths and then each participant will craft a Mini Altar Keepsake Tin that may act as a travel altar, medicine keeper, or ritual container. All supplies will be provided, but feel free and inspired to bring pictures, crystals or small keepsakes to additionally adorn your tin. Can’t be with us in person? Follow along at home online in our virtual zoom classroom! You will need an altoid tin (or something similar), scissors, glue stick, collaging materials, a piece of felt, and other things to adorn that can include, but not limited to: gems, crystals, stickers, paint, washi tape, hot glue gun, and other crafting supplies.
