DANDELIONS, AND CLEAVERS, AND NETTLES, OH MY! A deep breath of refreshing air, the return of the bird song, the greening of the meadows, the promising buds sprouting on the tree line… SPRING HAS Arrived! And how grateful am I to feel blessed enough to witness it. There’s something so inspiring about this time of year, an unfurling of the self. With the warmth of the sun encouraging the landscape to wake up, so does my spirit and yearning to be outside with the plants. Join Bekah for a fun evening of discovering the abundant, medicinal and edible spring herbs popping up in our backyards. We will discuss over 10+ wild herbs, their medicinal qualities, how to identify in your own landscape and craft a custom nutritive spring herb vinegar for each participant to take home and enjoy! Some herbs will include: dandelion, nettle, cleavers, violet, chickweed, mugwort, motherwort, ground ivy, garlic mustard, ajuga, … and more! Rebekah Sutter is a blossoming community herbalist & artist residing in the rolling hills of Northwest Connecticut. Bekah's passion lies in combining the healing physical, energetic & plant spirit magic of the herbal world with the creating of beautiful hand-crafted artwork and herbal remedies.
