WOMEN'S MONTHLY DRUM CIRCLE with Deana Paqua & Laura Watkins and the Twin Star Tribe Join us for a wonderful night of drumming, connecting to Mother Earth (Pachamama) and the heart of the cosmos. Drumming is a powerful way to release stress and heavy energy, empower self-healing, and tune into our inner guidance, This is a spiritual and earth-honoring circle, open to all those identifying as women, regardless of musical ability...bring a rattle or a drum and join us for an evening of healing and fun. We will have a few extra instruments available. The 2nd Tuesday of the Month - 6:30pm. Fee is $35, at Twin Star School of Herbal & Energetic Studies, 5 Booth House Lane, New Milford, CT Laura has been studying astrology for over thirty-five years and has over 25 years of experience as an Astrological Counselor, and 6 years of experience teaching astrology. Laura is an Eclectic Shamanic Star Priestess which includes - but isn’t limited to - practicing as a Reiki Master, Crystal Healer, and a Cross-Cultural Energy Healer specializing in Core Shamanism and Andean Mystical Practices. When she’s not obsessively looking at her transits or digging through mythology, she likes to make jewelry, sing in a band with her husband, mess around with yarn, and hit flea markets/estate sales looking for vintage statues of the Goddess in all her forms. Deana is a Teacher and Practitioner of Cross-Cultural Energy Medicine & Contemporary Shamanism, a Reiki Master Teacher, Tarot reader and licensed massage therapist with over 25 years as a healing arts practitioner, and 20 years working and studying with indigenous healers and Shamans from various cultures, with a focus on the heart-centered earth-honoring traditions of the Andes. Everything she shares is with permission and respect. Deana currently supports empaths and healers as the humble teacher of great heroes, in growing their confidence, spiritual and healing gifts to be more of service to their families, clients and the earth. She also enjoys hiking with her partner, a healthy crystal and oracle/tarot deck obsession, and playing with her rescue pups Charley & Dinah.
