Strength Training for Seniors
Age Actively with Strengthening Movements to Gain Confidence, Build Strength and Improve Balance
Strength Training for Seniors is a one hour class using body weight, hand weights or resistance bands designed to help build muscle, improve balance, and support bone health.
Regular strength work makes everyday activities like climbing stairs, carrying groceries, and getting up from a chair easier and safer. It also supports better posture, joint stability, and overall mobility—reducing the risk of falls and injury.
Beyond the physical benefits, strength training boosts confidence, enhances mood, and encourages social connection—helping older adults stay active, independent, and engaged in daily life.
Class is led by Raindrop Fisher, Certified Fitness Trainer
