Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser in Stratford

Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic and FeralCare Inc. are teaming with Oronoque Farms Bakery to hold the third annual Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser. Available in seven different flavors—apple, apple crumb, blueberry, blueberry crumb, cherry, cherry crumb, and pumpkin—each pie is 9-inches and costs $16 per pie. The pies must be ordered by November 14 and picked up on November 21 between noon-6pm at the clinic. They are delivered frozen and uncooked, ready to be baked fresh for the holiday.

The Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic is a low-cost, high-volume facility for cats and dogs, the first such professional clinic in Fairfield County.  Since its opening in August 2012, Nutmeg has successfully altered more than 4,000 animals, preventing unwanted births and prolonging the quality of life for every animal that enters the clinic. The clinic offers other low-cost services only during the spay/neuter appointment such as basic vaccines, feline leukemia/AIDS testing, heartworm testing for dogs, topical parasite treatment, microchipping, ear cleaning and nail trims.

To order holiday pies, visit nutmegclinic.org/pies-pets between now and November 14 or call 203-690-1550. Nutmeg Spay/Neuter Clinic is located at
25 Charles St, Stratford. See ad, page 57.
