Offering Perspective on Spiritual Healing
May 05, 2015 10:13PM
Evan Mehlenbacher, a practitioner and teacher of Christian Science healing, will present Health, Prayer and Healing: Finding the Connection on May 14 at 7:30pm at the Norwalk Inn and Conference Center. The seminar is co-sponsored by First Church of Christ Scientist - Darien and First Church of Christ Scientist - Westport.
Mehlenbacher will explain the spiritual origin of health and share practical examples of how the divine law of God brings freedom from ills of all types. His ideas are based on the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the Bible, and as discussed in Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy.
A free copy of this textbook on scientific, mental healing will be given to the first 100 who pre-register at Health-Prayer-Healing-Connection.eventbrite.com.
“There’s a spiritual dimension to health that needs to be understood to experience health at its best. What we think and pray makes a big difference to our well being,” says Mehlenbacher, a member of the Christian Science Board of Lectureship. “Living true to one’s spiritual individuality made in the likeness of God brings improvement to the human condition.”
