LENS Neurofeedback Available at Shalva Clinic
Jan 05, 2018 04:15AM
Shalva Clinic’s Dr. Nadia Noori is offering a new therapy known as LENS, or Low Energy Neurofeedback System. It is an FDA-approved therapy that aids the brain’s ability to reorganize and restore lost functions. Patients can see improvement in areas of cognition, mood, movement and motivation.
Rather than telling the brain what to do, LENS disrupts dysfunctional patterns, allowing the brain to initiate the process of healing. Some clinical applications include autism, ADD/ADHD, concussion, brain fog, addiction, depression and insomnia. LENS can also be used for persons who are otherwise healthy, but interested in improving brain function, attention/focus, cognitive performance, mood and sleep.
Noori is a licensed naturopathic doctor with a general family practice. Her particular area of specialty lies in optimizing brain health with a focus on neurodegenerative and neuropsychological conditions.
