What drew you to this profession?
Watching my parents struggle with chronic health issues gave me a deeper appreciation for prevention of disease. Osteopathic medicine provided the perfect tool, combining holistic and traditional approaches for healing the whole person.

How does your work differ from others in your profession?
Health and wellness is not just about the absence of disease and treating the occurring symptoms. A person must be empowered on their life journey to care for and nurture their body, mind and spirit—and that is my mission as I work with my patients. I am board-certified in neuromusculoskeletal medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine; a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine and Nutrition; and a Diplomate of the North American Academy of Neural Therapy. Also, I am on the associate faculty for the Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation and Osteopathic Cranial Academy. Recently certified by and a member of International Lyme and Associated Disease Society (ILADS).

What should a patient expect from working with you?
As you enter our serene wellness center, expect to be empowered on your path to optimal health. We will work together, and you will leave with a comprehensive holistic plan you can follow.

What changes do you plan for your practice in 2020?
New this year, I am using a cutting-edge therapy called Neural Therapy in the practice. This allows old scars and fibrous tissue restrictions to be released with an injection of a procaine anesthetic solution that clears interference fields in the nervous system and heals pain and injury.
