Chair Yoga offers a supportive and accessible approach to Iyengar Yoga using the chair as a primary prop. This class emphasizes alignment, gentle strengthening, mobility, and postural awareness while reducing the need to move up and down from the floor.
Students practice seated poses, chair-supported standing poses, and simple movements to improve balance, circulation, and ease of movement. Additional props may be used to enhance comfort and stability.
This class is well suited for older adults, those with limited mobility, balance concerns, or anyone seeking a slower, more supported practice.
