Buddhi Mat Power Yoga

New Student Special at Buddhi Mat Power Yoga

Buddhi Mat Yoga, the only studio in Fairfield County devoted to teaching heated Power Yoga, is offering a $40, two-week unlimited yoga special to new students. Buddhi Mat Yoga builds strength, flexibility, stamina, focus and inner transformation. The studio’s intention is to create a practice for everyone and every “body”; it’s not about holding the perfect pose, but holding your perfect pose. The focus is less on how you look and more on what you feel, or your “intelligent intuition” on the mat. The Sanskrit translation of Buddhi, (boo-dee) means: an intuitive intelligence that exists in all of us, the guiding force behind our internal wisdom and our reactions to the outside world. This vision is integrated into every practice. With 15 years experience, Yoga Director Lyn Kehoe’s classes are strength- and power-oriented, yet they emphasize lightness and presence. Her ability to guide students of all levels to their edge while being in tune to their individual needs invites returning students. She encourages focus on the process, not the outcome, while weaving in Buddhi’s philosophy and the mental practices that speak directly to each person. “What are you waiting for?” Kehoe asks. “Get your Buddhi to the Mat!”

Buddhi Mat is located at 66 Danbury Rd, Ridgefield. Visit their website, BuddhiMatYoga.com or call 203.403.2399 for more information.
