Natural Awakenings Fairfield Cty/Housatonic Valley, CT

Liz Sortino

Natural Awakenings is pleased to announce the addition of Liz Sortino to the Fairfield County edition. “After searching for many months for the right person to fill our Marketing Consultant position, we have finally found her! Liz’s professional background qualified her as a great fit for this position, yet it was her extraordinary spirit of giving and personal commitment to holistic living that made her the right fit and best possible choice for the publication and our many partners in the community,” says publisher Carolyn Aversano.

Liz spent the first thirteen years of her career in healthcare and nursing, and later transitioned to marketing. She served as a Marketing Manager at Reed Exhibitions where she was responsible for marketing of national trade shows and worked with hundreds of exhibitors to create successful customized marketing programs. After taking time off from her career to raise her daughter and twin boys at home in Newtown, she turned to her passion for fitness to reinvent her career, and still does part-time work as a Kickboxing and Spin instructor. Liz is also a Reiki Master and co-founder of Be Still Reiki, a volunteer Reiki practice primarily serving Veterans and those with terminal illnesses. She is a regular Reiki volunteer at Ann’s Place, the Home of I CAN community cancer support in Danbury.

In her new role, Liz will be working with healthy and sustainable living businesses and community organizations throughout northern Fairfield County to create meaningful advertising and marketing partnerships aimed at collectively fostering the spread of personal and planetary health, peace and prosperity.
