Norwalk animal rescue group Pet Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and Bridgeport’s Beardsley Zoo are teaming up for the Zoo’s Pet Awareness and Adoption Day on May 17. The Zoo will host experts on pet care and safety, and present crafts for kids. PAWS volunteers and other local rescues will be on hand with animals available for adoption.
