Sedona Art, in Ridgefield, is hosting several fun August workshops. The creative classes each have four spots available. Specific dates are still to be determined, so contact [email protected] if interested in attending any of the workshops.

The Painting Moonlight Workshop with Carleigh Fraley will be a meditative practice in intuitive landscape painting. Attendees will learn the simple tools to cultivate and create a freeing work of art. Ages 11 and up.

The Pouring Art Workshop with Liz Frascella will be a meditative and relaxing setting to enjoy the movement of color. Attendees can relax, get creative and have a little escape from the outside world. Ages 18 and up.

The Markers with Music Workshop with Emily is a peaceful art space to draw intuitively with music. The music will guide attendees’ creativity and allow them to let go of the outcome. Ages 5 and up.

Meditate & Create with “Mark Rothko” and Lily is a special morning or evening meditation creative hour-and-a-half workshop in which attendees will create their own Mark Rothko style painting on a 6-by-6 panel. Ages 18 and up.

Both Sedona Art and its sister-store, Touch of Sedona, offer relaxed, friendly, local shopping experiences, featuring art supplies, inspiration, Native American art and
jewelry, crystals, gifts and more. Touch of Sedona also hosts readings on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
