Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust will host its 11th Annual Field & Forest 5K Trail Run/Walk on Friday, June 5, at 6 p.m. at the Van Vleck Farm & Nature Sanctuary in Woodbury. Presented by Showcase Realty and Ameriprise Financial Services advisor Derek Packett, the event supports local conservation and environmental education programs.

The scenic 5K course winds through fields and wooded trails, offering runners and walkers of all ages an evening of outdoor recreation and community connection. A post-race celebration will feature live music, food trucks and family-friendly activities.

Advance registration is open through June 4. Registration is $32.80 for participants ages 11 and older and $22.20 for children 10 and younger, including processing fees. Day-of registration is $40 for ages 11 and older and $30 for children 10 and younger. Participants ages 11 and older who register by May 5 will receive a complimentary race shirt.

The race will be timed by Fast Track Timing. Due to trail conditions, strollers and pets are not permitted.

The event will take place at The Sugar House at the Van Vleck Sanctuary, 48 Church Hill Road, Woodbury.
