The Raja Center for Yoga, Meditation and Reiki will open its new location at 13 River Street in Milford in October 2026, bringing yoga, meditation, Reiki, education and community programs to the area.

The center will offer yoga classes for all experience levels, guided meditation, Reiki certification, yogic philosophy courses, workshops, nationally recognized 200- and 300-hour yoga teacher training programs and local and international retreats. The Raja Center will also continue its tradition of international retreats, with a Yoga and Meditation Retreat in Tulum, Mexico, scheduled for February 2027 and already filling quickly.

The Raja Center was created with a vision that extends beyond offering classes, providing a welcoming space where people can slow down, connect and discover practices that support everyday life.

“We’re building more than a yoga studio,” says owner Berta Prevosti. “We’re creating a home for a growing community, a place to gather, learn, breathe, heal and reconnect. We envision The Raja Center as a modern-day ashram, not a place removed from the world, but a sanctuary within it, where ancient teachings meet modern lives.”

The new Milford location builds on The Raja Center’s established online studio, which has served its community through yoga, meditation, teacher training and educational programs since 2020.
