Explore New Paths to Wellness at the Passport to Health & Wellness Expo
Dr. Marcie Fallek
The 17th Bi-Annual Passport to Health & Wellness Expo, presented by Holistic Community Professionals, will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 18 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Bristol, Connecticut. The free community event will bring together more than 55 vendors, wellness practitioners, bodyworkers and providers of holistic products and services.
Attendees can explore a variety of natural health and wellness approaches, meet holistic practitioners and learn about products and services designed to support well-being. Speaker presentations will take place every half hour beginning at 11 a.m., with the keynote presentation scheduled for 1 p.m.
This year’s keynote speaker, holistic veterinarian Dr. Marcie Fallek, DVM, CVA, will present “Your Pet Will Enjoy a Second Chance at a Happy Life with Natural Remedies,” sharing her perspective on holistic veterinary medicine and natural approaches to animal wellness.
A conventionally trained veterinarian, Fallek has dedicated her career to exploring holistic approaches that address the whole animal. She incorporates a variety of natural and energetic healing modalities, tailoring her approach to each animal’s individual needs.
Her presentation will explore natural and complementary approaches for pets facing chronic conditions such as arthritis, allergies, skin problems, gastrointestinal issues, diabetes, respiratory problems and other health challenges. Fallek believes animals have a natural ability to heal and that the veterinarian’s role is to support and facilitate that process.
Fallek is the author of Little Miracles Everywhere: My Unorthodox Path to Holistic Veterinary Medicine and has been featured on television programs, podcasts and in newspapers and magazines. She practices holistic veterinary medicine in New York and Connecticut, combining her conventional veterinary training with natural and integrative modalities.
In addition to educational presentations and exhibitors, the expo will feature a teacup raffle with items and gift certificates donated by participating exhibitors. Donations and raffle proceeds will benefit a local nonprofit.
The Passport to Health & Wellness Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. October 18 at the DoubleTree by Hilton, 42 Century Dr., Bristol. Admission is free. Free admission tickets are available at TinyURL.com/HCPExpo2026. For more information, visit YourHolisticEvents.com. See ad, page 11.
