Nature’s Temptations, a locally-owned Ridgefield health food market, has been an active part of its community for 19 years. Recently the local store turned to its community asking for support of its mission to provide customers with outdoor space. After receiving approval to build a deck for outside dining, Nature’s Temptations launched Community Deck Campaign, an Indiegogo fundraising plea. In less than two months’ time, the campaign raised more than the $16,000 goal with $16,281 being donated to the campaign from local businesses and individual donors.

According to the store, “This deck will help us to grow which will enable us to continue to educate more people in our community about the importance of healthy eating, living and caring for the earth including supporting local, organic and sustainable practices.”
