On May 18, Danbury Animal Welfare Society will open its doors from 1 to 5pm to anyone who has ever been curious about who the organization is and what it does. The public is invited to stop by, tour the DAWS shelter and learn how the rescue organization helps dogs and cats find their forever-homes. Interested individuals can also find out how they might help DAWS through many volunteer opportunities. Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. Past adopters are encouraged to stop by and let DAWS know how their pet is doing.
