Expected to open this month, Halo is a New Canaan-based collaborative community of select personal trainers, wellness experts and healing therapists dedicated to empowering people to lead healthier and more balanced lives. The center will offer individual and group classes, educational programming, nutrition counseling, stress reduction, diagnostic technologies, healing therapies and spiritual support.
Halo will feature a juice bar, fitness center, tennis club and store in addition to eleven studios and suites with acupuncture, chiropractic, massage, yoga, dance, BioCored, meditation, personal training, health screenings and aromatherapy – all without membership requirements.
Starting in February, Nancy Lochtefeld, owner of Nearwater Pilates, will offer individual, duet and group Pilates and personal training classes. Sung Pak, principal of Bodymechanics, enhances mobility and performance through a combination of massage therapy, strength and conditioning and Biocored in his custom studio at Halo. New Canaan’s Pryority, founded by Julie Pryor in 2008, will also be relocating to Halo. In a customized studio and outdoor meditation garden, Pryority will offer personal training, lifestyle coaching, rehabilitation services, Pilates, Gyrotonic, massage, energy therapies and aromatherapy. Additional practitioners will be joining the community. Select studios, suites and kiosks are available to rent by the hour, day or week.
