Rescuing Animals One at a Time in Redding

The Sleepy Pig Farm, created by Redding residents Tiffany Paltauf and Joe Bonitatebus, has opened as a safe haven for animals. The farm is beginning with a current group of two pet pigs and several ducklings; the goal is to become an animal sanctuary in the future.

Especially as the farm continues to rescue animals, Paltauf and Bonitatebus will be looking for volunteers to help with care for the animals and the farm. Come June 3 to volunteer to build the fence for the new area for the pigs. Upcoming plans include adding on more pens to hold more animals.
