On December 4 and 18 at 5pm, join Sue Broudy and Barbara Slaine at The Angel Cooperative in Ridgefield for guided meditation, followed by group Reiki from 7 to 8pm in the Shungite Room. Each participant will receive individual as well as group Reiki from Broudy and Slaine. The exchange is $25. 

Shungite is said to be around 2 billion years old. It is a natural material found typically only in a remote section of Russia. It is known to contain fullerenes, a unique carbon molecular structure that has been studied for decades. The energy embodied within this ancient stone is said to help absorb and eliminate things that are a health hazard to human life. It is also believed to have active metaphysical properties with strong healing powers. 

The Angel Cooperative, newly opened by Christy Kinsman and Laura Ancona Freed, is the only location in the U.S. to have a shungite healing room. The store also offers a wide array of goods for purchase.
