As the holiday season approaches, I find myself reflecting on the past year, cherishing the moments with family and friends, and embracing the warmth of my home. It’s a time to come together, share stories, and make lasting memories. It is so important to reflect on and give thanks for all we have.

I encourage myself to be intentional about my time and energy. Not to take a single moment for granted. With the world facing many challenges and uncertainties, I am reminded of the preciousness of life and the importance of holding on to every minute.

In the spirit of this month’s theme, eco-living, let’s celebrate the gifts of the Earth. By making thoughtful choices, we can reduce our impact on the environment. Whether it’s choosing sustainable gifts, reducing waste, or supporting local, eco-friendly businesses, we can make a difference with our actions.

This is a time to come together, share stories, and make lasting memories. After reading “The Joys of Minimalism” on page 14, I take a moment to consider what that means in this season of abundance. My family have countless decorations and items that we surround ourselves with this time of year. They bring with them a crertain familiarity that makes each of us feel festive but also safe. It is hard to prioritize and catalog all of these treasures, but this is a reminder that sometimes it’s okay to review what we surround ourselves with and what it truly means.

So, here’s to a holiday season filled with intention, eco-living, and an abundance of love. I will cherish every moment, every smile, and every act of kindness. And may the coming year bring us closer to a world of peace and positive change.

Wishing you all a healthy and heartwarming holiday season.

With love and gratitude,

Erica
