Firefly Hill Offers Free Remembrance Walk to Honor Loved Ones
Firefly Hill's Wind Telephone
As autumn gives way to the holiday season, Firefly Hill in Woodbury invites the community to experience a peaceful journey of reflection, remembrance and healing through its free, self-guided Remembrance Walk, available through Nov. 30.
The woodland experience offers individuals and families an opportunity to honor loved ones and reconnect with nature. Visitors can explore the trails at their own pace, paint remembrance rocks, contribute to a community remembrance display and visit a special wind telephone, where guests can symbolically share messages with loved ones who have died.
Originating in Japan, wind telephones are disconnected phones that provide a private space for expressing thoughts, emotions and memories. Firefly Hill’s wind telephone was donated in memory of Camsie Anna Thickett, offering visitors a meaningful place for reflection.
The experience reflects Firefly Hill’s commitment to supporting emotional well-being through nature, creativity and community connection, encouraging visitors to slow down, remember and find comfort in the natural world.
Cost: Free. Location: Firefly Hill, 1692 Main St. North, Woodbury. Open daily, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Nov. 30. For more information, visit FireflyHillFarm.org or call 513-807-9170.
