A Course in Miracles (ACIM) study group, offered only once a year, will begin on September 1 to study the year-long Daily Lessons (the Workbook) of ACIM, considered by many to be a life-altering document. The first four 7:30- 9pm meetings will take place on September 1, 16 and 29, and October 13.

During the course of the year’s studies, you will go through the process of learning forgiveness and acceptance, choosing to love under all conditions, and recognizing that life and love are eternal. The group is comprised of those new to ACIM as well as individuals who have long studied it.

The group will be guided by Deanne Mincer, who has extensively studied ACIM, ancient yoga texts and the mystical writings of Rumi. Each participant will read the lessons on their own, then meet with the group every other week for discussion for eight-week intervals. The cost for each four-session phase is $80. Refreshments are served during the group meeting.

A Course in Miracles was “scribed” by Dr. Helen Schucman through a process of inner dictation she identified as coming from Jesus. A clinical and research psychologist and tenured associate professor of medical psychology, she was assisted by Dr. William Thetford, her department head, who was also a tenured professor of medical psychology at the medical center where they both worked.
