Finding Homes for Fairfield County Heroes
Dec 02, 2014 03:49PM
Jeff Grossarth and Manny Gomes want to find homes for American heroes. Grossarth, a realtor with Platinum Property Realty in Norwalk, and Gomes, a mortgage banker with Norcom Mortgage in Fairfield, are part of a unique Homes for Heroes network that helps military personnel, police, firefighters, teachers, first responders, health care workers and other public servants save money on the sale and purchase of real estate.
People taking advantage of the program receive 25 percent rebate of the commission on the sale or purchase of a home. Gomes and other mortgage providers in the Homes for Heroes program provide discounts on closing fees. As the Homes for Heroes affiliate in Bridgeport, Grossarth can approach workers in Bridgeport to participate or work with any hero that approaches him in any other Connecticut towns.
Homes for Heroes is now expanding discounts beyond the home buying and selling process with its Friends of Heroes program. They have partnered with community-minded businesses both locally and nationally to provide heroes discounts.
