Natural Awakenings Fairfield & Southern Litchfield Counties

Cucumber & Chamomile’s Grand Opening

Meredith Mulhearn

Meredith Mulhearn of Cucumber & Chamomile has opened a new custom tea shop in Ridgefield. Mulhearn has provided nutrition therapy services to Fairfield County residents through Cucumber & Chamomile for the past two years. She will continue to offer these services in the new space in addition to incorporating custom loose tea blends and accessories. All the Apothecary Line teas will be blended in-house for each customer while they wait. Regular events at the store will include Tea Tasting Thursdays and High Tea.

“To our loyal customers, not to worry – we’ll be continuing all of our nutrition services in the new space, as well as educating clients on the many benefits of herbal tea,” explains Mulhearn. “I’m pleased to announce that we’ll be working in conjunction with Ridgefield resident and aromatherapist Pippa Martin, who has extensive knowledge of herbalism. This will be a place for people to disconnect and enjoy a ‘quiet zone’ to escape from the stresses of every day – so they can take time for themselves and sip a cup of tea by the window.”

The location was previously home to Sweet Pierre’s. “I will be continuing the chocolate tradition, offering a healthy, decadent line of small-batch chocolate,” says Mulhearn. “Everyone keeps asking if there will still be chocolate, and everyone who has tried the samples loves it!”
