The Stratford Animal Rescue Society (STARS) will host its annual Plant Sale and Pet Adoption Event on May 9 from 11am–3pm at Stratford Animal Control. A wide variety of hanging baskets, annuals, perennials, herbs and vegetable plants will be available for sale. Pre-order by May 1 and receive a free basil plant. Pick up for pre-orders is the day of the event and also on, May 10 from 9am–11am. All proceeds go to benefit the animals impounded at the shelter.
